Die M-Kupplung besteht aus einer Kugel woran sich ein loser Spannring befindet, in den das Hebelwerk der MT-Kupplung eingerastet wird. Um die exakte Größe der Kupplungen zu bestimmen, werden bei der MT-Kupplung der Innendurchmesser und bei der M-Kupplung der Außendurchmesser gemessen.
